School: Lindsay Adult and Alternate Education Centre

Position: Continuing Education Teacher - Personal Support Worker Program, Co-op Supervisor

  • The successful candidate will oversee 10 students at a Long Term Care home in Lindsay, Ontario for the 2 week supervised clinical placement.

  • The role of the teacher will be to supervise, mentor and instruct students during their placements.



Duration: The contract will begin on Wednesday April 16, 2025 and will finish on Wednesday May 14, 2025

  • In-Class orientation on Wednesday April 16 (9:00 am to 3:00 pm = 6 hours)

  • Placement from Monday April 28, 2025 to Wednesday May 14, 2025 (6:00 am to 2:00 pm = 8 hours daily = 104 hours)

Remuneration: $50.98 per hour - total contract is for 110 hours

Qualifications: Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse. Preference will be given to applicants who are also Certified Teachers registered with the Ontario College of Teachers and those with experience in working in a long-term care setting.
