We are currently seeking several Installer-Assemblers to join our team.

Job Description

As an Installer-Assembler at Trium, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and/or reconfiguring furniture for our various corporate clients. You will play a key role in project execution and act as an ambassador for our company.

Responsibilities
  • Verify order forms and prepare furniture for delivery, ensuring all items are complete and in good condition.
  • Load furniture into the delivery vehicle securely to avoid damage during transport.
  • Drive the delivery vehicle to the client's address, adhering to agreed schedules and road safety rules.
  • Unload furniture upon arrival, taking care not to damage the products or the client's property.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm delivery details and answer their questions.
  • Assemble furniture on-site according to the manufacturer's assembly instructions, provided plans, and client specifications.
  • Communicate with the team leader or project manager to update them on progress and any issues encountered.
  • Provide professional and courteous service, meeting clients' expectations and needs. Ensure the site is spotless before leaving an installation location.
  • Clean and store tools and equipment after each use.
  • Complete delivery and installation documents, including work orders and deficiency reports.
  • Report on deliveries and installations completed at the end of each day.

Ensure the installation of furniture according to the company's established quality standards while respecting the set assembly times.

Requested skills

  • High school diploma 
  • Relevant experience in furniture installation or a related field
  • Experience in reading installation plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of office furniture products (an asset)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French (English – an asset)
  • Possess basic tools (both electric and manual)
  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
  • Forklift operation certification (an asset)
  • Ability to use a manual pallet jack
  • Possession of the ASP construction card (an asset)
