Physical and Health Education
The teacher will plan for and provide appropriate learning experiences for all students in a variety of educational settings. Successful candidates will be able to:
Model the school’s values, and implement the First Nations Principles of Learning , and the First nations Teaching Standards
Plan a full year PE and Health Program for 75 K-7 students.
Provide all daily instruction, assessment, evaluations and reporting.
Create and maintain the classroom ambiance necessary to enable learning and promote enjoyment of learning
Give students frequent, individual feedback on their work and progress
Participate in the school's co-curricular program
Maintain high behavioral expectations and student safety at all times
Supervise/Collaborate with the in-class support of classroom EA's and other instructional staff
Support the SpiritNorth program
You must have a valid BC Teaching Certificate from the TRB, Category 5.
