Here's what your tasks will look like:
  • With the assistance of the Assistant Controller, manage all accounting operations, including payables, receivables, production accounting, general ledger and advice, as well as cost, inventory and revenue accounting.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare and control cashflow.
  • Coordinate and take responsibility for budgeting and financial forecasting, and report variances.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements including quarterly reporting required by public company.
  • Coordinate other regulatory reporting.
  • Investigate technical accounting issues for compliance purposes as required.
  • Manage and comply with federal, state and local government reporting and tax filing obligations.
  • Implement and detail operational processes and accounting policies to ensure and strengthen internal controls.
  • Coordinate the activities of external auditors.
  • Be predisposed to do any work that is necessary to complete monthly tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with concentration in accounting
  • English required;
  • At least 5 years' experience in accounting;
  • Experience in manufacturing accounting
