We are looking for a assistant to join our team and take charge of the crucial aspects of purchasing, sales, and marketing within our company. This role involves proactive management of purchasing and inventory, as well as significant contribution to our sales and marketing initiatives.

Work schedule: full-time Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
(38 hours/week)

What are the main tasks of the job?

  • Create purchase orders, scan them into the system and oversee their transmission
  • Work closely with logistics to organize order collection and follow up on pending orders
  • Regularly analyze inventory to recommend adjustments and ensure efficient order management to close gaps (min./max., order composition)
  • Participate in the creation and updating of catalogs and price lists, as well as documents for new products
  • Assist management in the creation of sales aids for promotions and in the organization of trade fairs. A presence may also be required
  • Update promotions on social media and company website
  • Collect and enter information on new customers
  • Perform other related tasks as required by the projects concerned

Requested skills

To succeed in this position, you must have:

  • College diploma/attestation in administration, logistics, supply management or equivalent training
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in an agri-food environment
  • Advance inventory management and purchasing coordination skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in IT tools and social media
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage several projects simultaneously 
  • Bilingualism required for this position as it involves communicating with external international players
