Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide statistical information for quality improvement by identifying test methods and samples.
  • Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determine confidence levels;
  • Establish statistical reliability;
  • Develop experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques;
  • Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable and sequential sampling methods.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data; make recommendations.
  • Maintain and comply with Standards and certifications in place;
  • Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results as required.
What we're looking for:
  • University degree in chemical engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience in a quality engineer role within a manufacturing environment;
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements;
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset);
  • Demonstrate perseverance, rigor, curiosity, initiative, and autonomy;
  • Have a strong sense of priorities, be methodical and structured;
  • Possess aptitudes for teamwork with multidisciplinary groups.
