Assist in the maintenance of branch facilities and equipment by performing tasks such as, but not limited to, machine service of plant production, loading and unloading of delivery trucks, painting, use of motorized industrial forklifts, plant cleaning, and purges. Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all company security policies and approved maintenance procedures.

General Description

  • Uses common tools to perform plant cleaning operations, including but not limited to lint and dust removal devices, outside rubbish removal, equipment cleaning, and pit / trench screen cleaning.
  • Performs miscellaneous painting tasks within the plant or outside painting on the facilities or grounds. Trench screen cleaning, lint and dust blowdown of facilities and equipment, cart cleaning, and pressure washing.May perform various levels of facilities upkeep including landscaping, snow removal, and other.
  • Sling cord repair

Housekeeping

  • Uses common tools to perform housekeeping operations, including but not limited to wet and dry mops, brooms, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, towels, steel wool, carts, and trash cans.
  • Performs cleaning operations in the office areas, the production floor, outside of the facility, and other property areas as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Keeps restrooms clean and stocks them with supplies.
  • Cleans the kitchen / breakroom areas and Ménage
  • Removes trash and other rubbish and places them in the proper refuse receptacles.
  • Cleans windows. · Performs dusting of furniture and building hardware as assigned.
  • Relocates light furniture as required to properly clean assigned areas.

Safety

. Wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by Safety policies.
. Completes all safety related training. Performs all other duties assigned by location management.

. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers.

Schedule

Fulltime schedule: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
