Salary Range: $28, 808 - $37, 960
Unity Christian School, located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Assistant for the 2024 - 2025 school year. As an integral member of our Educational Support Services team, you will play a crucial role in fostering a Christ-centered, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for our students.
The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the learning of students in Grades 6-8 by being an additional support in classes like Math and English Language Arts. The position involves working 1:1 or in small groups, as well as circulating in the classroom to help as needed. Typically, this person would be in different classes for a few blocks a week. There would be some record keeping involved and intentional connection with each teacher. The successful candidate would need to have a working understanding of Grade 6-8 Math and English, and be able to develop a good rapport with this age group.

Each candidate must be:
a committed Christian
dedicated to Christian education.
Trained and/or experience in working with children with a variety of learning needs.
Preference will be given to:
candidates with an EA certificate or equivalent training
