Position Summary
The Project Manager works closely with the chair and manager of the REB and other stakeholders to support the development and implementation of institution-level strategic projects. The analysts helps with documentation of existing and future states, tracking and analysis for planning and execution of the projects. They will build relationships and strong communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and development of both risk and change management plans.
The research ethics board is strives to ensure that all research involving human participants conducted within the jurisdiction of University Health Network (UHN) meets the required standards of ethical and research conduct. As such, the REB is an integral partner in the research enterprise - to facilitate the progress of, ethical research help advances in the care and wellbeing of our society. This requires the collective contribution of all stakeholders: scientists, trainees, support staff, research and operations leadership and external organizations. To facilitate advances in knowledge, innovation and treatments, UHN has embarked on a bold initiative to improve efficiencies of the approval of research projects through the development of a Strategic Research Project team. This is a multi-disciplinary, high performing project team that will support and manage the development and execution of strategic and high priority research initiatives. This call relates to the position of a project analyst to work with the REB as part of the strategic research project team.
