Job Description

The candidate operates a machining center and/or a CNC lathe. He will report directly to the production coordinator who will report to the company director. He will have to show meticulousness and autonomy.

Main duties of the job:

- Read and interpret technical drawings and/or part plans in order to determine the machining operations to be performed and to determine the optimal sequence of operations

- Setup the machine and process to the appropriate quality checks

- Optimize your time in order to maximize manufacturing on several CNCs simultaneously

- Calculate dimensions and tolerances

- Verify, using precision measuring instruments, if the dimensions of the parts are exact and adapted to the standards

- Maintain the machine and work areas

Requested skills

- Possess a DEP in machining and ASP in numerical control (or equivalent)

- Proficiency in plan reading

- Be resourceful and independent

- Sense of responsibility

- Knowledge of FeatureCam and MasterCam programming (an asset)

- Experience in 5-axis programming (an asset)
