As a Clinical Planner with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:
- Undertake a lead role in planning and supporting the implementation of designated initiatives across the health authority.
- Ensure the identification and incorporation of evidence-based standards and best practices for care delivery, coordinates project development for a broad range of initiatives and ensures appropriate frameworks and processes for evaluation are in place.
Education & Abilities
- Masters Degree in a health related discipline.
- Five years recent experience related to the designated initiative or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation and evaluation.
Knowledge & Expertise
- Extensive knowledge & clinical experience in designated area
- Proven ability to manage complex projects
- Knowledge and experience in community development
- Demonstrated ability in change management and change processes
- Ability to undertake program evaluation
- Experience with budget development
- Demonstrated leadership skills with diverse populations and stakeholder groups
- Excellence in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office group of products
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
As per Ministry of Health policy, all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections. Collecting these records will allow for offering of any missing vaccines, and for appropriate actions to be taken in the event of any future exposure to a communicable disease or during outbreaks.
