Department mission

The mission of the Culture, Sports, Leisure and Community Development Department is to improve quality of life by promoting accessibility, participation, and integration of all citizens through the provision of excellent community, cultural, sports and recreational facilities, activities, and services.

The City of Pointe-Claire offers services designed specifically for the well-being of seniors. From at-home help to social activities, seniors benefit from a personalized offer. Furthermore, thanks to our Aid for Seniors Program, home maintenance and exterior services are often provided by students. This enables an enriching exchange between the generations.

Responsibilities and goals associated with the position

Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Community Support and Aid for Seniors, the incumbent will be responsible for light cleaning services at senior homes or apartments around Pointe-Claire (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen).

Requirements

      • Bilingualism; spoken and written
      • Able to travel to their clients independently
      • Previous cleaning experience an asset
      • Previous experience with seniors an asset

Working Hours

10-20 hours per week - Monday to Friday (day shifts)
