Administrative Assistant (Non-clinical) (1035)

JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the administrative activities of the facility’s management, including general secretarial duties, daily follow-up of correspondence and all activities around meetings and writing minutes. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Secondary school diploma or general education diploma (GED) plus an additional program in office management of more than year and up to two years or the equivalent;
• Two years’ previous experience is required;
• Excellent skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet and willingness to learn new software applications as needed;
• Initiative, good judgment and tact;
• Ability to perform duties without constant supervision;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work for more than one person and to handle multiple priorities;
• Versatility;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
• Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
