Registered Cardiology Technologist (EC01)

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the manager, the successful candidate performs various diagnostic procedures to help physicians diagnose electrophysiological and mechanical heart functions and may be asked to perform procedures in relation to phlebotomy. The incumbent may also perform any other necessary related duties, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Member of the New Brunswick Society of Cardiology Technologists
• Tact, initiative and sound judgment in organizing work and completing administrative duties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform assigned work
• Good work history (performance and attendance)
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network’s management philosophy and organizational values
• Adherence to Vitalité Health Network’s confidentiality rules
