About Bearskin Lake First Nation
Bearskin Lake is a vibrant Oji-Cree community located in northwestern Ontario. Our school provides a culturally rich learning environment that celebrates Indigenous traditions and values.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Education degree
Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or eligible for membership
Experience working with Indigenous students preferred
Strong commitment to early childhood education and culturally responsive teaching
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with Ontario's Kindergarten Program
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with teaching partners, families, and community members
Assess and document student learning and development
Participate in school and community events
