Reporting to the Director of Care, the Physiotherapist is responsible to provide Physiotherapy assessments, treatments, programs and other related functions for all residents of the Centre in accordance with Workplace Safety & Health regulations and guidelines, policies and procedures (e.g. utilizing personal, protective equipment as per safe work procedures).
EDUCATION
- Current active registration and licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba; and
- Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association recommended.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in extended care Rehabilitation
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of Jewish cultures and traditions is an asset
- Familiarity with Manitoba Health Standards
SKILLS
- Practices confidentiality
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have a good understanding and ability to work closely with Rehabilitation Services
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to function in a computerized environment
