Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will support the planning and implementation of projects within the screening programs. Specific projects will depend on program priorities and may include; project management activities, collaborating with healthcare providers, community partners and the public, tracking and evaluating project activities and budgets, developing written material and reports, coordinating advisory group and other meetings, and communicating with program participants.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree in health sciences or a related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum three years project management experience including planning, innovation and development, evaluation and budgeting.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams, with proven track record of achieving desired results.
- Demonstrated experience in change management, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Capable of carrying out the duties of this position with diplomacy, sound judgement, tact and professionalism.
- Must be able to take initiative, and lead projects from initiation through to completion.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must hold a satisfactory employment record
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
Asset:
- Knowledge of cancer screening and public/population health
- Experience working within healthcare
- Knowledge of health and geographic landscape of Manitoba
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software; Word, Excel; PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to speak French
