Project Control Lead

Wood has an immediate requirement for a Project Control Lead, to join the Operations Team in the St. John’s, Newfoundland office. This is an exciting time to join our growing business. With a wide range of projects we support for our clients, this role provides a great variety of work scopes and responsibilities. 

Within this role you will lead the estimating, cost, planning and risk assessment functions to assist in delivering projects on time and on budget.  This role will be key in bridging Project Controls with Project Management to ensure the correct interpretation and use of project metrics to enable maximum benefit to internal and external stakeholders. This position shall also be responsible for ensuring the Project Controls Team utilize existing processes and standardized tools in supporting Project Management. 

This role interfaces with several key stakeholders across the project and wider business. You will be the primary focal point for the Project Manager, Client or Project Team for all matters relating to project costs, schedules, risk, and change management. The responsibility of developing and implementing the project controls execution plan, also sits with this position.
