We are currently looking for an Preventive Maintenance Technician to fill a full-time temporary position on the day shift. This is a replacement position, for a undetermined period.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN JOINING THE TEAM

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Foreman, maintains, repairs and does preventive maintenance on the building, machinery, equipment and tools used.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and repair machine shop machinery, welding equipment, paint booth and wash booth installations
  • Maintain and repair equipment used in the automatic and semi-automatic departments
  • Preventive maintenance on building, equipment and machinery according to the computer maintenance program
  • Emergency repairs when an operator is having difficulty using a machine or equipment
  • Advise superior of any adjustments to be made to the preventive maintenance program concerning regular breakdowns
  • Is attentive in order to detect eventual equipment breakdowns and building maintenance needs
  • Is aware and careful of safety of self and others (health & safety)
