Invites applications for the position of:
Enrolment Coordinator
One (1) Permanent Full-Time Position
Exempt Level 6 $72,810 to $92,459 per annum
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager, Admissions, Enrolment and International Education Program, the Enrolment Coordinator oversees the submission of student data to the Ministry of Education, for the funding of board operations.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the submission of class and student enrolment data for elementary and secondary schools, to the Ministry of Educations reporting system;
- Generate monthly student enrolment summary for internal, cross-functional use;
- Assess student registrations for admission eligibility based on legal status and Catholicity requirements;
- Trouble-shoot data and reporting issues with the boards student information system and Ministry of Educations data collection system;
- Liaise with Ministry staff, internal student information system team and program leads, and other school Board Officials on admission and enrolment matters;
- Train new school staff and deliver annual in-service to Secondary school secretaries;
- Support internal, external and Ministry of Education audits;
- Interpret and apply Ministry regulations, legislation and Board policies for registration and reporting purposes;
- Support the manager in the development and updating of admissions and enrolment policies and procedures as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
· College Diploma in business or related field
· 4 years related work experience in a school board environment
· Direct experience working with Student Information Systems and OnSIS
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong analytical and data management skills with proven experience trouble-shooting data and system issues
· Effective trainer
· Proficient with Google & Microsoft Office applications
· Self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet reporting deadlines
· Exemplary communication & interpersonal skills
