POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manoir Outremont is a warm and pleasant residence that is happy to welcome a little over 350 independent and slightly dependent residents. Join a family where respect, collaboration and humanity are an integral part of the values of the employer and its managers!
Permanent part-time position, 16 hours per week in the form of 4/15, day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Member of the OIIAQ
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- PDSB training
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
