As a member of the Accounts Payable (AP) team, you will play a vital role in processing and reviewing a high volume of transactions. Your responsibilities will include managing vendor maintenance supplier requests, entering vendors into the Oracle system, processing employee expenses, handling adjustments, reviewing requisitions from various departments, and delivering exceptional customer support. The Accounts Payable Administrative Support IV clerk is responsible for efficiently processing a range of vendor and employee invoice transactions, as well as vendor maintenance tasks, utilizing both automated systems and manual processes. Additionally, you will manage inquiries from internal and external clients, responding via phone or email. We use the Oracle ERP system, Markview for invoice workflow, SSI and Kofax Validation document imaging software. We process both Purchase Order (PO) and Non-PO based transactions. This position also involves troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Employee Expenses, Requisitions, and Adjustments. Additional responsibilities may include compliance checks for providing coverage for the mailroom, and performing scanning duties, which may require lifting files or boxes (up to 25 lbs.). There may also be occasional involvement in payments or customer support center tasks. This position reports to a Supervisor of Accounts Payable.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Some post-secondary education.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high volume, automated Accounts Payable position OR Minimum of 2 years towards a degree in an accounting or business administration in accounting program.

Experience with Oracle financial system or similar accounts payable/financial systems (i.e. SAP, JD Edwards, or Great Plains). Experience with Adobe Acrobat editing software and intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel.
