Description
As a member of the Clinical Engineering North Zone team, the Biomedical Equipment Technologist Summer Student is responsible for assisting and supporting the Clinical Engineering North Zone Team to ensure patient and staff safety and equipment reliability under the supervision of Biomedical Equipment Technician II.
Currently enrolled in Biomedical Engineering program or working towards a two year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology from an accredited Institute of Technology. Active or eligible for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
A self started individual with a passion to learn about medical equipment and systems supporting patient treatment and safety.
