Description
We are seeking a dedicated and outgoing individual to join our team as an LPN at Vermilion Long Term Care, a cottage-style facility offering 48 private beds. Built in 2007, our facility was designed around the well-being of our residents in mind, featuring rooms equipped with a full lift track system, private bathrooms and showers, as well as spacious living areas to ensure both privacy and comfort. As an LPN, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our residents. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is able to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and compassion. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, personable individual who enjoys engaging with others and can adapt to the varying needs of our residents. In this role, you will be expected to be able to work independently and as a team, while maintaining the highest standards of care. Your ability to stay organized and manage competing priorities will be essential as you assist with medication administration, wound care, treatments and nursing care. You will collaborate closely with the on-site Registered Nurse, who is available 24/7 to offer guidance and support. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working in a geriatric care setting and who is looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. If you are compassionate, organized, and ready to contribute in a team-oriented setting, we encourage you to apply.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures.
