WHO YOU ARE:
We are looking for an intern to join our Construction team! In this role, you will support with store maintenance, facilities maintenance, and design development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General Administrative Support
- Assist with filing, document organization, and data entry.
- Support the organization of shared drives (OneDrive, Share).
- Scan, copy, and archive documents as needed.
Facilities & Maintenance Support
- Help organize and track store and facility keys by province.
- Assist in scanning, filing, and organizing store and facility contracts.
- File invoices and maintain accurate records.
- Contact stores to request photos when needed.
- Support weekly reorganization of lighting materials for requisition reports.
- Assist with HVAC contract organization.
Store Design & Development Support
- Conduct research for design inspiration and sample sourcing.
- Help with reviewing new store design developments.
- Assist in reviewing available inventory and placing orders if necessary.
- Support in processing OSM (Owner Supplied Materials) bulk orders for stores.
Headquarters Support
- Assist in coordinating facility maintenance, repairs, and service requests.
- Help with space planning, office layout adjustments, and workstation setups.
- Maintain facility-related documentation and inventory records.
- Support vendor coordination for maintenance services.
- Respond to employee facility requests and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Assist in improvement projects and renovations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Facility Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Adobe suit (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficiency in Autocad and Sketchup
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
