Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.
Many schools within Aspen View are geographically located to allow beginning teachers to meet the requirements of the Northern Student Teacher Bursary and/or Northern Alberta Development Council bursaries
H.A. Kostash School, located in the town of Smoky Lake, provides educational programming to approximately 395 students from Early Learning to Grade 12. H.A. Kostash School is recruiting a .5 FTE Interim Inclusive Education teacher which may also include teaching CTF and CTS courses, PE and elementary options.
The position will begin upon hiring. Review of applications will commence on September 13th, however, this position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
