BLU E WATER DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR T HE FOLLOWING TEMPORARY EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT POSITION
An Educational Assistant is responsible to the school Principal to provide medical, physical and safety/supervision support to students with intensive special education needs in elementary and secondary schools.
Temporary Vacancy :
One (1) temporary part-time (0.20 FTE) Educational Assistant required.
Scheduling is Fridays.
Commencing as soon as possible and ending December 20, 2024 or earlier if incumbent returns or circumstances change.
Note: Where positions are in schools with elementary and secondary panels scheduling may reflect work in either panel
Eligibility:
To be eligible, applicants must hold a secondary school diploma plus completion of a post-secondary education program in one of the following: Education Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Educator, Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education and/or experience.
