VICE-PRINCIPAL POSITION(S)

Bluewater District School Board is creating a diverse leadership list of qualified candidates for future elementary and secondary vice-principal positions. We invite innovative, collaborative, and change-focused applications from teachers and system leaders. Successful candidates to this leadership list will be placed on a list for a two-year period and may be contacted as opportunities become available.

Qualifications

Principal Qualification Program one and two (placement pending successful completion)

Valid qualifications to teach at the elementary and/or secondary level with current registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers

Asset s

Expertise in implementing achievement plans that support student learning and well-being

Experience working as an instructional leader

Demonstrated expertise in school operations, building relationships, and developing people by supporting positive learning and workplace environments

Superior interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Leadership of school teams to build an understanding of culturally relevant and responsive pedagogy (CRRP), universal design for learning (UDL), and the ongoing impact of colonization on students

Enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to work as part of an accountable district-wide leadership team

Interviews will be held on Monday , October 2 1 , 202 4 , in person at the Bluewater District School Board Education Centre.
