Supporting a culture of Fitness, working alongside the members of the Canadian Armed Forces and actively preparing them to defend and serve our country could be your path to an extremely fulfilling career.
As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, as a Facilities Coordinator, you will: plan and coordinate the maintenance, repair or construction of local facilities and fitness trails and schedule the use of recreation facilities; advise managers on routine maintenance in all facilities, as required; recommend facility upgrades, designs, and requirements; coordinate and organize special events, as well as the use of facilities with local communities for scheduling events that exceed Base capacity; and many other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in facilities management or in a related field
Experience
In coordinating the maintenance and repair of facilities and related equipment
In applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
In facilities maintenance and repair procedures
In project management
In budget administration
In personnel administration
In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail and Internet browsing
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
