THE ROLEAs a Home and Electronics Sales Associate, you provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You assist in the set-up of the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments and provide technical and professional advice on sales and products offered. You assist with ordering stock and ensure that shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed. You explain and sell extended warranty programs and accessories.
The Home and Electronics Sales Associate may also provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
This unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

The anticipated term of this position is until 15 March 2026.
