THE ROLE

The Project Coordinator will plan, coordinate and administer the delivery of programs, projects and/or events, and will liaise and coordinate with vendors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), management, committees and other internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of programs, projects and/or events.

As part of the Stewardship and Quality Management team at Military Family Services (MFS), the Project Coordinator will participate in the development and review of policies, procedures and business process, and recommend changes to existing policy, procedures and process and will develop and implement plans, briefing materials, training, communications, and other content for programs, projects and/or events as well as propose and/or oversee budgets and service contracts related to programs, projects and/or events.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in a related field

AND

Several years of experience in administration or a related field

Experience

In organizing and administering programs and projects
In preparing reports, correspondence and other communications
In administrative functions and activities
In planning, developing and conducting presentations, seminars, meetings, events, and/or conferences
In budget development and administration
In applying policies, procedures, regulations and relevant legislation

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English or French Essential, Bilingual an Asset

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Enhanced Reliability
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
