THE ROLE

The Senior COTS Application Specialist provides technical leadership for the maintenance and implementation of Microsoft tools and technologies - Dynamics, Power Automate, Power Pages etc... They build applications and web pages using low-code or no-code components. They provide technical expertise on fintech and insurtech industry trends and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Software Development, Computer Programming or a related field AND several years of experience in software development, support and maintenance.

Relevant certifications in CRM Dynamics and Power Pages are a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in CRM Dynamics and web development working for a financial institution.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including customization, configuration, and integration.

Extensive experience in designing technical solutions and performing peer reviews.

Strong knowledge of Power Pages for creating and managing web pages, forms, and portals.

Expert in developing custom applications using Power Apps and creating automated workflows and processes. Should be able to own technical issues and provide leadership to bring these issues to resolution.

Ability to design and implement data visualization and reporting solutions using PowerBI.

Proficient in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with SQL Server and other database technologies.

Experience with Azure services and cloud-based solutions.

Ability to design and implement API integrations with third-party systems.

Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and highly self-motivated

Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and understand their requirements.

Experience in coordinating and facilitating technical discussions with vendors and other cross functional team.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.

English or French Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

The selection process will be done virtually.

This temporary employment is expected to end on 30 April 2027.
