THE ROLESince its inception, Hylands Golf Club has matured into a top-quality golf facility that offers a full range of service and amenities to its 1200 members and their guests. A true jewel among Canadian Forces golf facilities, Hylands continues to host numerous regional, national and international events. As part of CFMWS, our mandate is to provide affordable golf to our local military personnel and their families.
As a Server, you provide an excellent customer experience for our golf clubhouse operations. During big events to everyday moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.
The server will greet customers, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages. You will operate a Point of Sales system, take orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff and serve food and beverages. Full availability is required as shifts range from mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (Ontario)
Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (Smart Serve)
Food Handling Certification, as required

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
This is a seasonal position. The anticipated annual season is April - October.
This unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the UFCW local 175 bargaining unit for CFMWS Category I employees at CFSG Ottawa-Gatineau.
