Description
CFMWS. A job with purpose. Our 4000+ person strong organization champions a healthy, fun, creative and active lifestyle for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans and their families. Help us deliver a variety of recreation and fitness programs, offer family support, organize charity events and make sure our members access retail, travel and banking discounts and customized financial services. At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we love what we do. And we live it too.
THE ROLEAs a Store Supervisor, you provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You supervise the store operations, ensuring correctness of employees’ schedules and ensuring time sheets are reviewed and submitted to payroll in a timely manner. You ensure the latest market changes, operating procedures, apply corporate selling practices, and provide coaching to employees regarding these practices. You use layout and display techniques to display merchandise and advertising material and assist in developing mark down strategies.
The Store Supervisor deals with customer concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and authorizes refunds, voids, and returns. You may also provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food.
This is a role where everyone works as one team using modernized technology and an understanding of the unique pressures and rewards of military service to provide the best customer experience for our members and to simplify and improve their lives.
