THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Deputy Manager PSP, the Yacht Club Supervisor will plan, organize and supervise the Yacht Club operations and office services. They will open and close the Club as required in accordance with safety regulations. They will supervise employees. They will administer membership application forms, provide visiting boaters with reservations, general information and assist with the check-in and check-out process. The Yacht Club Supervisor is also responsible for preparing invoices for payments, operating the cash register and maintaining a float. They will reconcile the cash register reports and ensure proper receipt and control of funds, and perform other administrative duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or in a related field, AND some years of experience in marina operations, or in a related field
(OR High school diploma, AND several years experience in marina operations, or in a related field.)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card
Valid Very High Frequency (VHF) Operators Card
Experience
Experience in operation of small power boats
Experience in refueling watercrafts or similar vehicles
Experience in operating tools and equipment required for marina maintenance
Experience in applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
Competencies
