Location: Toronto, Canada
- 7 to 10 years of Business Analyst experience
- 7 to 10 years of Guidewire PolicyCenter experience
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) domain
- Experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter and leading major transformation programs
- Solid understanding of the Property and Casualty domain to assist business stakeholders in defining and prioritizing requirements and scope management.
- Lead Business Analysis activities including:
- Documenting and validating functional and technical requirements
- Running inception workshops
- Capturing requirement sign-offs and collaborating with teams to estimate requirements
- Clarifying requirements to developers and QA teams through walkthroughs
- Reviewing and providing sign-off on test cases related to each requirement
- Conducting product demos to program collaborators during sprint reviews and gathering feedback for product improvements.
- Support Guidewire initiatives, including project improvements, maintenance, and regulatory changes.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research, fact-finding, and understanding applicable business solutions.
- Analyze, identify, and write detailed descriptions of user requirements, program functions, and steps needed to develop or modify the Guidewire product.
- Make recommendations for business process improvements based on a detailed understanding of technical challenges and solutions.
- Act as a Functional Lead, providing support to other Business Analysts on critical domain and product-related queries.
- Understand client needs (both stated and unstated), break down scope, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide guidance across client portfolios for multi-functional product knowledge.
- Collaborate with Product Owners on product definition and release planning.
- Maintain strong relationships with critical client collaborators (both Business and Technical) from a functional perspective.
