About this opportunity:

The Field Measurement Coordinator is responsible for the Measurement Assurance Program in the Edson area. Reporting to the Measurement Manager, the Field Measurement Coordinator will work closely with Field Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Production Accounting, Field Data Capture and Emissions teams supporting them in all measurement related activities. The team is looking for someone that is a good communicator, team player and works well in a high paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Effectively coordinate and operate the EPAP (Enhanced Production Audit Program) controls for AER EPAP requirements and integrate the measurement compliance program within operations

  • Be responsible for the gas and hydrocarbon analysis validation and scheduling process in a specific area

  • Aid in scheduling of required sampling, testing and other regulatory measurement sensitive activities

  • Have an involvement in corporate decision making and take on projects that aid in CVE measurement QA QC

  • Provide technical analysis of measurement installations and assist in maintaining the PM program for measurement equipment in the field

  • Assist in auditing of production facilities and ensuring compliance with government and corporate requirements

  • Establish and coordinate a process for updating all measurement schematics for the Edson area and provide help in trouble shooting problem areas relative to measurement and accounting issues

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • 4+ years in oil and gas with operations, measurement, Instrumentation, or PA experience; previous experience in a field measurement technologist/coordinator position is preferred

  • Technical diploma, specifically in Instrumentation would be an asset

  • Knowledge of AER Directive 17 measurement and reporting requirements is crucial

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Team player, positive attitude, good prioritization and organization skills

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments

For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 drivers license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate
