About this opportunity
Cenovus’s New Grad Program aims to attract, develop and retain exceptional new grads to build a top talent pipeline for the company. The program provides new grads with a broad understanding of Cenovus’s core business through challenging work assignments, training and development, field exposure and the opportunity to develop a large network of contacts through networking and mentorship opportunities.
Our Program consists of three consecutive 12-month rotational assignments that span Cenovus’s varied business areas. Upon completion of the three-year program, you will be matched to a permanent role within the organization. This role will be based on business need and relocation may be required.
Within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Function, you could be placed in numerous rotations supporting Cenovus’s business units, including:
SCM Major Projects and Well Delivery
SCM Downstream Operations
SCM Upstream Operations
SCM Shared Services and Corporate Operations
SCM Atlantic Region (St. John’s, Newfoundland-based)

What you’ll do
Responsibilities may include:
Data analysis and visualization creation
System administration and maintenance
Supplier onboarding
Supplier negotiation support and supplier relationship management
Drafting and executing legal agreements and amendments
Post-contract management and support of various portfolios
Commercial assurance and risk mitigation analysis
Facilitation of business engagement with subject matter experts and liaising with internal functions
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Available to begin work June 2025
Must have an undergraduate in Business or Commerce or a related program degree obtained by May 31, 2025 and completed within the last 2 years (2023, 2024 or 2025).
