As Canada’s largest mental health care provider, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) provides evidence to drive system and policy change through the implementation of innovations and novel service delivery interventions. The Brain Health Imaging Centre (BHIC) is one of the primary research areas of CAMH and focuses on new brain imaging tools and methods used in mental health and addictions for clinical neuroscience research.

Position Description:

The Pre-Clinical Imaging Facility at BHIC is seeking a full-time, permanent Laboratory Manager reporting to the Research Operations Manager and working under the direction of the Scientific Associate for Pre-Clinical Imaging. This role will work closely with pre-clinical and clinical research imaging teams, including scientists, staff, and trainees. The role will include day-to-day operations and quality assurance for two (2) preclinical Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanners (PET-CT and PET-MRI) and related equipment and laboratories. The Laboratory Manager will support and provide oversight for Pre-Clinical Imaging operations and coordinate key initiatives related to the operations of Pre-Clinical Imaging and provide support for day-to-day tasks. There may be some variability in the work schedule to ensure oversight of Pre-Clinical Imaging Facility operations. Designation as a Nuclear Energy Worker is mandatory for this position and will be arranged for the successful candidate.

Please note: This full-time, permanent position is NOT part of a bargaining unit
