The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) has an outstanding tradition of combining scientific rigour and practical relevance.

IMHPR is currently seeking a full-time, contract (5 months) Research Analyst to join its dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Scientist in charge of the project, the Research Analyst is required to support evaluation research on youth addiction treatment interventions. The successful candidate will:

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor (honours) degree in psychology, public health, or related disciplines, in combination with at least one (1) year of related experience in quantitative or qualitative research. Previous research experience in the area of adolescent substance use, is required. Demonstrated experience supporting research ethics board applications and amendments. The ideal candidate must have proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The candidate must have demonstrated experience with data analysis and relevant software for this purpose, particularly Stata or R, and experience conducting literature searches. Experience preparing manuscripts for peer-review publication are required for this position. The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, organization skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
