Chinook School Division is seeking a Custodian to work three days per week for 3 hrs/day (days/hours of work are somewhat negotiable).
Start Date: December 9, 2024
Qualifications:
Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, staff
Proficient in the use of all hand tools and equipment
Good mechanical ability with strong capabilities in the area of troubleshooting
Good physical condition
Previous cleaning and floor care experience in a public facility
Self-directed, able to complete assigned tasks without supervision
Duties (may include but are not limited to):
Daily cleaning and disinfecting when students are in attendance
Special cleaning during school breaks
Minor repairs and maintenance
Operating mechanical equipment such as snow blower, lawn mower, power scrubber etc.
Yard work, including snow removal and lawn mowing
Extensive lifting may be required up to and including 20kg.
