The Chinook School Division requires a full time (1.0 FTE) temporary teacher/principal at East Fairwell Hutterian School beginning September 3, 2024 through June 30, 2025. East Fairwell Hutterian School is a colony school with 24 students and located 50 km northwest of Eastend.

The Chinook School Division is proud to serve nearly 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. We are a vibrant and progressive school division located within Saskatchewan's great Southwest. Qualifications:

Effective interpersonal and communication skills;

Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLC’s, professionals and community service agencies;

Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;

Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation

Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

A collaborative member of the educational team;

Respectful of the Hutterian culture;

Effective as a teacher in strategies that support student learning and growth.

Successful teaching experience or training;

Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
