Full-Time Temporary Teacher - Student Support Lead
Chinook’s Edge School Division (CESD) invites applications from qualified individuals for full-time temporary teaching Student Support Lead position at Delburne School (Grades K-12) in Delburne, effective immediately to June 30, 2025. Reporting to the school principal, the Student Support Lead will provide school level leadership and support with the coordination of social emotional regulation and inclusion needs. This individual will collaborate with school staff, teachers, other school Student Support Leads, and Student Services Team members to support the development of a calm and confident school in the area of complex needs and to ensure all students achieve success in their educational program.
The successful candidate will have a valid Alberta Teacher Certificate. Preference will be given to teachers with experience as a learning support teacher with a background in inclusive education and social emotional support. Knowledge of the Collaborative Response Model, Collaborative Problem Solving, differentiation, background in inclusive education and specialized intervention strategies for both academic programming and social emotional needs is preferred. Advanced communication, collaboration, problem solving, and analytical skills are also required.
