What to Expect:
The Copywriter is an integral part of the Creative Marketing team and will report to the Senior Manager, Content. The successful candidate must be an equal parts writer, editor, and storyteller with exceptional organizational skills and the communication skills to transform ideas into engaging content. The incumbent will have a strong sense of brand tone, a passion for purpose-driven storytelling, and an eye for detail. This person is interested in retail and its changing landscape, and is eager to grow into a leadership role by championing great ideas, even if they are not their own.
What You Will Do:
You have a knack for crafting impactful short-form copy tailored for various platforms such as websites, emails, and paid media.
You write purposeful, consumer-led copy with a masterful sense of tone to engage relevant audiences
You thrive in environments with high-volume content demands, handling the flow of copy efficiently and maintaining transparency throughout
You excel at managing copy from the initial concept stages through to production. This involves collaborating with designers, fellow writers, and project managers to deliver the final polished product
You are dedicated to upholding brand standards and ensuring consistency in copywriting across all materials
You are a creative thinker, able to develop proactive ideas and innovative solutions that align with brand and business goals
Excel at problem-solving and prioritizing copy for projects with small character counts and tight deadlines, always delivering quality work on time
What you will bring to the team:
1+ year(s) of experience as a copywriter for an agency, in-house creative team, or in custom content
Experience with paid media
You have a compelling portfolio that elevates a brand's creative experience
You can distill information into engaging stories that are executable
You are skilled in writing short-form copy for email and site
You are detail-oriented and can work on tight, shifting deadlines
Your work proves you can think big and optimize based on channel
