We are thrilled to bring a strategic and goal-oriented Technical Manager onto the Enbridge ACRE Team who will play a meaningful role in defining the product vision and strategy for our automated contract review solution!

What you will do:

  • Define and communicate (verbal & written) the product vision and strategy ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Collaborate with partners to include customers, business leaders, and cross functional teams to capture and prioritize product requirements
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly articulates the desired functionality and user experience
  • Act as the primary liaison between the development team and partners to ensure clear communication and understanding of product goals
  • Prioritize product backlog while making informed decisions about which features and improvements to develop next based on business value and user feedback
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including spring planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the development team is aligned and focused on delivering value
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to inform product strategy and to find opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to iterate and improve the product continuously

Who you are:

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment, preferably in a startup or fast paced setting along with a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or a related subject area
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience in using data to inform product decisions

You can:

  • Show a solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery of product features

You are:

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners
  • Familiar with product management tools (e.g. JIRA, Trello) and techniques for backlog management

The following are considered assets:

  • Experience in the insurance or legal industry with an understanding of contract review processes
  • UX/UI principles knowledge and the ability to partner with design teams
  • Product Management or Agile Methodologies certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in typical office environment with up to 15% travel within North America

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

For BC Only:

Salary: Ranges from $150,000 - $200,000 based upon experience.

Company paid international relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
