Activity Aide

Seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Aide to join our team in providing meaningful and engaging programs for residents in long term care. The ideal candidate will support the Program Manager in planning, organizing and implementing a variety of activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation and physical wellness. Assist in the development and delivery of daily recreational and therapeutic programs for residents. Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual abilities and interests. Escort and assist residents to and from activity areas as needed. Monitor residents during programs to ensure safety and comfort. Maintain activity supplies and help with setup and cleanup. Support special events, outings and holiday celebrations. Collaborate with other team members to enhance residents quality of life
