Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker certificate course

  • Knowledge of techniques used in caring for the elderly

  • Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures

  • Ability to provide resident care in accordance with application legislation, job routines, nursing care plans, ability to read and write English and understand both oral and written instructions in English

  • Good attendance record is a must

  • Must be available to work all shifts as required and weekends/holidays

  • This is for information purposes only and is subject to change

  • Mentally and physically able to perform duties as assigned

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to complete assignments in a timely manner

  • All surge and 24/7 training are up to date
