My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounting Clerk for my client, a wellness company. This is a permanent hybrid position on Ile des sœurs.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure that invoices are matched with the respective delivery note or purchase order and enter them into the accounting application.
For certain suppliers, mainly in spa, restaurant and massage therapy; record, manage and pay invoices
Review, reconcile and follow up with suppliers
Account for spa traffic and other operational data
Make bank deposits, prepare and account for tips
Verify cash register and credit card reconciliations
What we're looking for:
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in accounting or equivalent work experience
2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of QuickBooks (asset)
Initiative, organizational skills and autonomy
Extreme attention to detail and discretion
Ability to communicate and work as part of a team
