I'm looking for a Chief Accountant for my client in the Plateau-Mont-Royal. This is a permanent, hybrid position (2-3 days remote).
Your responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the production of financial information for 2 entities.
- Perform analyses required to produce journal entries.
- Develop the budget process and monitor financial projections.
- Coordinate the work of external auditors.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow.
- Produce quarterly documentation required by investors.
- Manage and supervise the work of one person.
- Ensure compliance and synchronization of accounting operations.
- Improve processes.
- Make financial presentations to managers.
- Prepare analyses requested by managers for operational or financial purposes.
Your profile:
- 5 years of experience in accounting
- Experience in team supervision
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- Interest in working in a dynamic, creative and growing environment
- Bilingual (French, English)
- Knowledge of the entertainment industry (asset)
