I am Romane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for Finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team, experts in finance, speak your language and operate in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions.

I am looking for an assistant financial director for my client in the distribution sector. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode in Varennes.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Personnel management
- Trains and directs financial analysts and accounting clerks in their duties.
- Supervises and evaluates the performance of financial analysts and accounting clerks by
providing them with the necessary tools to accomplish their tasks.
- Ensures that all team members work well with the various departments to maintain a

Financial management
- Reviews and analyzes branch financial statements prepared by financial analysts.
- Leads financial analysts in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Supervises the financial analyst's review of the semi-annual and year-end file.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
- University degree, bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Possess a CPA CA, CGA or CMA accounting designation and experience in a CPA CA firm.

- Have five (5) years' relevant experience in a similar position and in supervising
personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting software is an asset.
- Knowledge of corporate taxation and commodity taxes.
- Demonstrate initiative, autonomy and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle several files at once.
- Adapt easily to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, organization and planning.
- Functional English preferred.
